With only a few hours left until our flight back to Paris, we really wanted to ride a camel on our last day in Marrakech. A nasty stomach bug put us in bed for most of our week in Morocco and we were trying to make up for lost time by scratching off what was left on our to-do list.
I’ve experienced many memorable things in my travels but nothing shocked my senses as much as our trip to Marrakech, Morocco. The sights are so vivid, the sounds are nonstop, the smell of new foods is always in the air. If only that same food hadn’t made me sick to my stomach.
While traveling through Europe I neglected clipping my beard and getting a haircut because I didn’t want to spend the $25 just to get my head shaved. A month into our trip, we had a gap in our itinerary and decided to do something spontaneous: we booked a cheap flight to Marrakech, Morocco.
